Cycling the key on early 90's Chrysler products for the error codes is no secret, and the error codes are easily available on line. The manufacturer's website doesn't do much to explain what else is in the package. This seems expensive for what it appears to be.

Chrysler/jeep/dodge/plymouth all allow you to retrieve engine codes for free with a tool you already own. THE IGNITION KEY! Google "Chrysler key dance" You will find instructions to retrieve the engine codes.
