4 out of 5 stars good and cheap   August 16, 2010

I wanted this for the occasional check on my bikes. It was quite cheap and worked well. No problems. For occasional use I would recommend it.

5 out of 5 stars Everything I needed   July 16, 2008

This compression tester did everything that I need. I screwed it into the spark plug hole (which works way better than the testers you have to press in and hold), disconnected the ignition coil, cranked the engine, and got accurate and reproduceable readings every time.

1 out of 5 stars Disappointed   July 14, 2008

The compression gauge looks decent but I hae spark plugs with long 18mm threads. The gauge doesn't fit and requires an adapter. I don't think the adapter is sold separately. I have to buy a mor expensive kit that includes the adaptor. That makes this one useless. I expect to have to resell it.
