Product Description

 good basic light with one major flaw February 28, 2010

The major flaw I found is that the user is unable to specify the number of cylinders for the engine tested. The light is set for a four cylinder engine, which is fine if you are using it to set the timing on a four cylinder engine, but if you have more or less the light is reduced a basic nonadjustable light. Otherwise the light is fine.

I bought two equus 3568, and sell one for a client, inform not display inductive advance, later on one month of use!!
I am an argentina customer, and lost my money on this purchase...

I ordered the Equus Timing Light for use on my classical Mustang '66 and MGB '73. It does the job - it's easy to use with a very bright light and easy to read display. Not least the built in rev counter makes adjustment easy.

I checked this out at my local store before I bought it. I took a chance that it would be the same item--not an opened package with missing parts.
It was exactly the same. Works great and the savings paid for the spark plugs. Great deal.

It's a timing light that's lightweight and easy to use. The induction clip is made of metal (a big plus), and the digital readout is easy to see and fairly easy to switch modes. A good purchase and a sizeable discount buying it from Amazon as opposed to using local sources.
